I don't think that food prices have gone up in the last 4 years, I know that it has.

There isn't anything in the store that hasn't gone up in the last 4 years.

I went shopping earlier this week the loaf of bread that I have bought for years is not $ 5.19. Last fall it was 4.59 and after looking on line to see what it was I seen it on my ledger for $3.79 in 2022.

Orange juice was 3.99. About 2 years ago it was 2 for $ 5.00 and that was the regular price not a sale price.

I worked in the restaurant industry and it was my job to be aware of prices.

Everything has gone up not one thing has gone down in cost in the last 4 years.

If you find it necessary to ask the question I question what cave have you been hiding in and when was the last time you went shopping

Yes. Much higher. It wasn’t unusual to find 3 oz wet cat food for thirty nine cents ( US currency),four years ago- now the same brand costs one dollar apiece. I try to take care of my cats best I can, but it hurts when I have to switch to cheaper brands with fillers and other gunk in them.
